Building Campaign

Rancho Coastal Humane Society’s Shelter Expansion Campaign

Because They Need Us”

Since it opened in 1960, your Rancho Coastal Humane Society has cared for thousands of homeless dogs, cats, rabbits and other small animals.  Over the years, the shelter has undergone a series of updates, but time has caught up with the shelter.  Key portions of our facility have remained largely untouched for decades.

The time has come to embark on a shelter expansion:  a building project that will create a modern veterinary medical center, a new education center, a pet food storage facility and meeting and office space to better serve the animals and people in our local communities.   This $3.5 million campaign has been in the planning stages for some time.  Many generous donors have already committed $1.3 million toward this project.  Our goals can only be reached with your help.  You can play a vital role in making life-changing differences for homeless pets today and for years to come.

The capital campaign is being chaired by Pam and Jerry Cesak, and we have a wonderful committee of volunteers helping to steer our fundraising efforts.
