You Snooze….You Lose….and So Do the Animals

It’s a San Diego thing. We wait until the last minute to make plans.

That is NOT the case with your Rancho Coastal Humane Society’s 2017 “Celebration of Second Chances” coming up on Saturday evening, October 21st at the Del Mar Country Club at 6001 Country Club Drive in Rancho Santa Fe. The theme is “It’s All About The Animals.”

That’s more than three weeks away and tickets are already 85% sold out!

So here’s the deal. If you haven’t already bought your tickets, or you want to buy more tickets and bring some friends, you really need to do it now. Here’s the link.

As RCHS President Jim Silveira says, “We make no bones about it. This is a fundraiser. We’re not going to beg. We’re not going to show sad videos. But if you want to see some of the really great things that RCHS is doing to serve people and animals, then we want you to join us. Our Charity Navigator rating of 4 stars and 99.93 out of 100 possible points is your proof that RCHS is one of the most trustworthy animal welfare organizations in the entire United States.”

Here are the details:

  • The Celebration of Second Chances begins with a cocktail reception. Stop by the ATM to pick up a couple 20’s for your raffle tickets.
  • Jeff Zevely, host of the “Zevely Zone” on CBS News 8, will co-host with his wife, Heather. It’s also the world premiere of a video created by Emmy Award winner Zoya Popova.

“It’s All About The Animals,” isn’t just an event title. It’s what we do every day. And we want you to be a part of it.

  • VIP level tickets at $300 include a cocktail reception with Jim Silveira.
  • Tickets for the Premier level reception beginning at 5:30 are $200.
