Don’t miss the next “Paws with the President”

These last few months we’ve been introducing you to Judi Sanzo. She’s the new President of your Rancho Coastal Humane Society.

We’ve known Judi for about five years as a member of the RCHS Board of Directors. It’s possible that you met Judi and her husband, Mitch, at the Celebration of Second Chances or the 5K Paw Walk in the Garden. They’ve attended Volunteer Appreciation events. And when we needed extra hands to help with the arrival of Wings of Rescue flights from disaster areas, Judi and Mitch were there. (Not for the “photo op” with the media. They were right in the middle of it carrying puppies and cleaning crates.)

It’s one thing to hear what the staff has to say about the new boss. What we would really like is for you to meet Judi in person at an upcoming “Paws With the New President” event.

Our second “Paws With the New President” will be on Friday, August 24th from 3:00 to 4:30 at your RCHS Thrift Shop at 120 Aberdeen Drive in Cardiff by the Sea. You can meet Judi and enjoy some refreshments. Thrift Shop Manager Brian Cook will offer 15% off purchases in the newly renovated Thrift Shop. We want you to meet Judi, but we don’t want people packed in there like sardines. Space is limited. RSVP by August 14th to Kelly Peters at [email protected].

If you can’t make it in August, or if you want to bring a friend and come again, we’re hosting another “Paws With the New President” on Friday, September 14th from 3:00 to 4:30 in the RCHS Education yard here at the shelter at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas. You can meet Judi, enjoy some refreshments, and talk to other RCHS supporters. If you have questions, jot them down and bring them along. Another cool thing about the September event is that we’ll bring out some of the dogs available for adoption. Check your calendar. If you can make it, RSVP to Kelly by September 14th to [email protected].

It’s pretty low key and it’s definitely not fancy. You don’t support RCHS because we throw expensive parties. You support us because of what we do for the animals.

We hope you’ll take a couple hours to Paws With the New President of your Rancho Coastal Humane Society.
