Pet of the Month – Doughnut

Doughnut is the Fetch Pet of the Month at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s an almost 2 year old, 7 pound, female, Domestic Short Hair with a Blue Tabby coat.

As you might expect, Doughnut gets her name because she’s so doggone sweet.

She’s a fairly recent mom. With her kittens all adopted, now it’s her turn to find a place of her own where she gets the attention she deserves.

Doughnut isn’t very trusting when she meets new people. She likes things to go slow until she feels comfortable in her new situation. When she’s settled in, she’ll give and get all the love she can.

Doughnut was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from another shelter through the FOCAS program.

The $100 adoption fee for Doughnut includes medical exam, vaccinations, spay, and microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org.
Kennels and Cattery open 11 AM to 5 PM every day but Tuesday.

If this isn’t a good time to adopt, please make a donation by sponsoring a pet until it becomes available for adoption. After all, Every Animal Deserves a Tomorrow. ®
