George Orwell was Right. Big Brother is watching US!

In his book “1984,” George Orwell warned society, “Big Brother is watching you!”

He was right!  Again this season, the television show Big Brother is watching the kittens, puppies, and bunnies at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society.

The CBS television network sets up cameras throughout the Big Brother house. The cameras record all the action so CBS can produce the TV show.

What you don’t see on the show is that there are always four cameras running in the house and being shown worldwide on CBS All Access through CBS Interactive. The live feeds are interrupted for evictions, competitions and set construction.

Again this season….the 21st season of Big Brother….subscribers to CBS All Access around the world are being treated to animals from RCHS.

When RCHS began working with Big Brother, the internet went wild. Twitter and the Big Brother chat rooms had comments from across the United States and around the world. A CBS official told us they had never seen that kind of response in the first 18 years.

This season will showcase the pets that are available for adoption at Rancho Coastal Humane Society. The Live Feed reminds families to “Adopt…Don’t Shop.” It informs viewers that the kittens, rabbits, and puppies they’re seeing are from Rancho Coastal Humane Society. It also encourages them to visit the shelters and rescues in their areas.

Don’t worry. When you visit RCHS, Big Brother will not be watching you. . . They’re only interested in the animals!
