HERALD and GERALD are a bonded pair. Both blind, they were residing in an overcrowded shelter when we found them. They had been living in a folding wire crate for 7 months! We just couldn’t leave them like that for another day when we knew we could help find them their forever home. They have adjusted to their large kennel, enjoy their time together in the yard and love visiting with our amazing volunteers and staff. Now they just need an adopter to give them that forever home in which to live out their golden years. Are you that person? If interested in adopting HERALD and GERALD, a link to the application can be found below.

I know that it may take some time for these guys to find the right home. Happy to help keep them comfortable during their stay.

Herald and Gerald are wearing ‘Muffin’s Halos’ for Blind Dogs. These devices help sightless dogs navigate safely by acting as a bumper when the dog  gets close to any solid vertical object. The halo’s are lightweight, comfortable and enable the dog to continue normal, daily activity.  The halos will go with Herald and Gerald in their new home. Thank you to Muffin’s Halo for Blind Dogs for their contribution to improving Herald and Gerald’s lives.
