Pineapple is a soft, glossy black tabby boy with an equally soft, sweet, and silly personality. He is shy at first, but when he settles in and gets to know his new person, he is extremely social and loving! He was found and taken in by someone who found him, his mom, and his litter mates outdoors. He was trapped and brought indoors at 9 weeks old. Pineapple has some trust issues initially, but once he gets to know you, he is so loyal and obsessed with human attention. He loves gentle belly rubs and playing with toys. He is also great with solo play toys and entertaining himself (and the humans around him!). This little guy is such a sweet baby, flopping over for chest rubs while making air biscuits. Pineapple has a few very cool features – his vibrant green eyes will adoringly gaze into yours once he gets to know you and he also has black stripes that are very visible in good lighting.

Pineapple is being fostered by a cat trainer and he adores his training sessions! He is fluent in clicker training and he is currently learning how to go into a carrier, sit on a mat, and do high fives. He is also working on learning fear-free handling, such as being picked up and nail trims. This gorgeous sweet boy is a sensitive soul, and while he is okay with other cats, he is intimidated by more assertive ones. While he seems to be feeling just fine about living as an only cat, he might do okay with younger kitten or a very easy-going, chill cat that is known to be cat-friendly. He does chirrup and trill to the foster’s other cats through a screen door, but then he tends to hide when they come into the room to interact. Pineapple’s new person/people will need to be sensitive to his feelings. He might feel most comfortable in a home with adults and older kids 10 and older. He will require a low key household, as he is sensitive and hides with loud noises and too much activity.
