Zorro is a resilient and loving dog who has had a challenging start to life. He was abandoned by his previous owner after being hit by a car, and has been taken in by a loving and patient foster family. Despite his challenging experience, Zorro has shown incredible strength and has worked hard to overcome his injuries. Knowing that Zorros has been injured, his fosters had gone ahead and provided Zorro with a surgery to heal his dislocated leg. However, months later his vet has confirmed that it is possible he may need another surgery in the near future.

Zorro’s foster family has put in many hours of care and training to ensure Zorro would get a chance to find a new home; but they now need help finding him a new foster or adopter.

Zorro can be shy with strangers and may bark at them to show them how scared he is. With a proper introduction and some time he will warm up and treat you like his new best friend. He gets along great with other dogs and appreciates a good game of tug of war, or enjoys watching movies cuddled up on the couch. Although he can be fearfully reactive to strangers and tends to bark at them, he has never bitten or lunged at anyone, and he has shown significant progress with training. He would make a great watch dog and makes his foster family feel safe knowing that he is always watching over.

Zorro is a sweet, loyal, and loving dog who deserves a second chance at a happy and healthy life. He may need some extra care and attention due to his medical condition, but he will make a wonderful companion for anyone willing to give him the love and support he needs.
