Rosie Posey is a gorgeous 1.5-year-old tortoiseshell with a big heart, a gentle soul, and a knack for making herself part of the family. She might hang back and observe when you first meet her, but don’t let that fool you! Once she feels safe, her friendly, social personality starts to shine. She’s the kind of girl who wants to be part of what’s going on, whether that means batting at a wand toy, checking in with her favorite people, or enjoying a cozy moment alongside a feline friend.

Rosie has a particularly sweet way of making friends with other cats. She’s not the wild-and-crazy wrestling type, but she loves a good friendly rub, a little companionship, and simply sharing space with her buddies. She’s especially close to her foster sister Thora, and the two are besties! Rosie also has a nurturing side: she was originally found co-parenting a litter of kittens with another adult cat, believed to be her sister. Clearly, this girl knows the value of having someone by your side.

She’s playful without being rowdy, affectionate without being demanding, and curious about the world around her. Sudden movements can startle Rosie, but she doesn’t stay worried for long. Give her a moment to collect herself, and she’s soon back to doing her thing.

Rosie is looking for a quieter, stable home with adults or teens who understand that the best relationships sometimes take a little patience at first. In return, you’ll get a lovely little companion who brings warmth, gentle affection, and plenty of tortie charm to everyday life. She’d be happiest with respectful feline company, and if you’re hoping to adopt a pair, she and Thora already have their friendship figured out!
