Bella’s Story 💔🐾
When she was younger, she had a family. But she never had the life she truly deserved. She spent most of her time in a filthy yard, surrounded by her own waste. Neighbors in Playas de Tijuana would bring her water and constantly ask her owner to clean the place up and provide better living conditions, but our words were never enough.
One day, Bella got out of the house and was hit by a car. Her leg was severely injured. She went a long time without the medical attention she needed and, eventually, lost the leg.
Today, Bella is 8 years old. She has only three legs and was left to fend for herself. Thanks to a neighbor with a huge heart, she is currently in temporary foster care, but that cannot be her permanent fate.
Bella has never known what it means to have a home where she is loved, cared for, and made to feel like part of a family. Despite all the pain she has endured, she remains an incredibly gentle, calm, and affectionate dog. She holds no grudges; she simply keeps waiting for someone to show her that love really does exist.
We want her to sleep in a warm bed, receive affection and good food, and finally experience the love she has always lacked.
Bella deserves to know love before it is too late.
If you can give her a home, or know someone who can, please contact us and share her story. Together, we can change the ending of Bella’s life story.
