I inherited Kylo when my nephew died suddenly. I have 2 other cats but they have never gotten along with Kylo. He was a shiny short haired black cat, four years old with yellow eyes. I think he may have been feral because he has a clipped ear. He was very shy & skittish. He stayed under the bed for 2 months & only came out to eat if the door to the bedroom was shut. He is an indoor cat & I have had him for 2 years. He is still afraid of almost everything but will roam the house if the other 2 cats are locked up or outside. He will come sit by me and likes to have his head scratched, get treats, and chase catnip mice. He is very sweet when you get to know him, but so far doesn’t like to be picked up. I keep him inside mainly because he has lost a lot of teeth. He can still eat canned food, small dry food & a supplement for his coat. He has to get his teeth cleaned every year & I am willing to pay for the next 2 cleanings. Because I am 82 & have 2 other cats, I can’t give all the attention I think he needs. I think he would do better in a home as the only cat or with very friendly cats. Other than his dental problems he is very healthy. I really hope that he can find a forever home & become very happy & comfortable there.
