Join us for Rancho Coastal Humane Society’s Community Festival!

After welcoming more than 1,500 community members to our Grand Opening Festival in October 2024, we’re excited to bring the celebration back — and make it an annual tradition on our beautiful Encinitas campus.

Join us on Saturday, April 18 from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM for a fun-filled afternoon celebrating the human-animal bond and the compassionate community that makes our work possible.

Enjoy a Kid’s Zone, food and drinks, live music, a beer garden, market and pet-related vendor booths, an Opportunity Drawing, and more.

Admission is free.
RSVP below to be entered into our Opportunity Drawing — the first 50 guests to arrive will receive five complimentary drawing tickets.

Friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome (maximum two per person). See below for full event details, vendor and sponsor highlights, and important event-day information — with more announcements coming soon!

Event Day FAQs

Is admission free?
Yes! Admission is completely free. We encourage you to RSVP in advance to be entered into our Opportunity Drawing.

Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend. Please limit two dogs per person to ensure proper handling and safety for all guests. All dogs must remain leashed at all times.

Can my dog go into the kennels?
No. For the safety and comfort of our shelter animals, personal pets are not permitted inside kennel areas or animal housing spaces. They are welcome to enjoy all outdoor festival activities.

Will animals be available for adoption during the event?
Our adoptable animals will be available to view, but no adoptions will be finalized during event hours. Guests are welcome to browse the kennels (without personal dogs) and submit applications. Approved adopters may return the following day once the event has concluded to continue the process.

Onsite parking is limited. Additional parking is available at Seacoast Community Church, with complimentary shuttles to the event entrance. We encourage carpooling whenever possible.

Is the event family-friendly?
Absolutely! We’ll have a Kid’s Zone, live music, food and drinks, and plenty of activities for all ages.
