Crushes of the Month – November 2022

Blue

We have a crush on Blue at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society.

One of our staff members calls her “Baby Blue” because of her right eye. She’s a one-and-a-half year-old 55-pound female Hound mix.

Blue was a stray puppy in Sonora, Mexico. She was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Services) program. Blue was adopted, then returned when her family realized they weren’t ready for a puppy. She was adopted again, then returned when she didn’t adjust to her new home right away. That’s a lot of jostling around for a puppy. She needs time to adjust to the right home.

The $145 adoption fee for Blue includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if her new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society’s Department of Animal Services.

Pebble Pop

Pebble Pop is our current kitty crush! She’s a 9-month-old, 7.5 pound, female Domestic Short Hair cat with a Blue and White coat.

She was left in the night drop at one of our rescue partners in Riverside County. After that she was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS). Two of her favorite things are purring and rubbing against whoever is petting her.

The $100 adoption fee for Pebble Pop includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, and registered microchip.
