Fetch – November 2021 – Crushes of the Month

Rosie – A Sassy Sweetheart that will Steal Your Heart

Our kitty crush of the month is on Rosie. She’s a 1-year-old, 8.5 pounds, female Domestic Short Hair with a Calico coat.

Before arriving at Rancho Coastal Humane Society, Rosie lived in a home with her family. Purr-fect, right? Nope. She got along with the dogs, but not with the other cats.

Her previous owner described Rosie as friendly, playful, curious, vocal, outgoing, confident, and independent. She sometimes gives kisses and will snuggle for a few minutes before finding something else that interests her. She’s a sassy sweetheart.

If it’s not the right time to adopt, you can become a Fur-Ever Friend by making a monthly donation to help pay for the animals in our care until they find their “fur-ever” home.

Sir – This Shy Boy Could Be Your Best Friend

In the kennels we have a huge crush on Sir.

https://rchumanesociety.org/sir-2/

He’s a 6-month-old, 32-pound, male Boxer-mix puppy. He and his sister, Madame, were 3-month-old strays when they were picked up and taken to a rescue in the Imperial Valley. They were transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through our Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS) program. Madame was adopted. Now it’s Sir’s turn.

Sir is a little shy and needs patient adopters who have experience in confidence-building. Sir might benefit from having another confident canine in the home. He needs a fenced yard and might like some teenagers to play with.
