Think your dog has what it takes to be a therapy dog? Join us at the RCHS Thrift Shop in Encinitas on Saturday, April 13th to find out. Our staff will be on-site to evaluate your dog’s behavior and temperament as the first step in joining the RCHS Pet Assisted Therapy (PAT) Team!
Pets make us laugh, they ease our troubles and enrich our lives. Research shows pets are good for us both physically and emotionally. During a visit from therapy animals, patients can disconnect from their illness and feel happy and hopeful even if only for a short time.
