We mourn the passing of our loyal friend, supporter and cherished Board Member, Jerry Cesak, on January 4.

Jerry was a passionate animal advocate. Together with his beloved wife, Pam, Jerry co-chaired our Capital Campaign that funded the building of Charlotte’s Medical Center, named in memory of their beautiful cat.

Known as “Jer” from the Jeff & Jer Showgram to so many in our community and across the country, Jerry was a radio icon who brought awareness to causes close to his heart.  Just a couple of months ago, Jerry hosted a special evening with MUTTS cartoonist Patrick McDonnell in Vivian’s Learning Center to promote shelter adoptions. 

Jerry’s dedication to Rancho Coastal created a legacy that will save lives of companion animals for generations to come.

We join this community in remembering Jerry Cesak.
