After a Year Off, We’re Puttin’ on The Dog Again This Sunday!
The RCHS Shelter is moving to Dog Days of Summer!
It’s one of the highlights of the year for dog lovers throughout Southern California. The Cardiff Dog Days of Summer!
Last year, Dog Days was canceled. We probably don’t have to tell you why, but now, it’s time to grab your walking shoes, leashes, water bottles, port-a-bowls, and go for a ride in the car. It’s back!
The Pupologie – Cardiff Dog Days of Summer is Sunday, August 8 from 10 AM to 5 PM at Encinitas Community Park at 425 Santa Fe Drive in Encinitas. That’s on the west side of I-5 between Birmingham and Santa Fe Drive exits.
It’s FREE! Pupologie – Cardiff Dog Days of Summer 2021 – is presented by Cardiff 101 Main Street and the City of Encinitas.
• It’s safe to bring the whole doggone family.
• There will be dog-related vendors and products.
• Visit “Rescue Row” presented by Rancho Coastal Humane Society (RCHS). RCHS and seven other rescue partners will have adoptable dogs to meet from 11 AM to 3 PM.
• Proceeds from Rescue Row benefit the RCHS Adoption Program.
• The RCHS shelter will be closed to visitors on Sunday so you can meet our adoption counselors and available dogs at Pupologie – Cardiff Dog Days of Summer. Find a pet you want to adopt, meet with a counselor, then head to RCHS (half a mile away) to finalize your adoption and bring your furry companion home that same day.
• Visit the agility course presented by Kamp Kanine Daycare for Dogs. If you’ve wondered if your dog has any interest or talent in agility, here’s your chance to try FREE, thanks to our friends and neighbors at Kamp Kanine.
• Other activities include contests for dogs, live music, a libation lounge hosted by The Lost Abbey, and food trucks.
