New environments and unfamiliar people can be overwhelming for him, so he’ll do best in a home that understands the importance of patience, consistency, and a gentle approach. Cocoa Puff may spend some time observing from a safe distance while he settles in, but with a predictable routine and a calm environment, he has the potential to slowly come out of his shell. He’s looking for adopters who understand that trust is earned, not rushed, and who will celebrate the small victories along the way.
