Max is a Snuggler

https://rchumanesociety.org/max/

Max is a 1-year-old, 29-pound, male, Hound mix.

He was transferred from Rescue Fenix, in the Mexican state of Sonora through our FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) transport program. When Max first arrived, he was shy. Now that he’s figured out he’s safe, Max gets really excited when people approach him. If it’s okay with you, he loves to snuggle and give kisses.

Max needs a family that can keep him active both mentally and physically. You should also know Max will need to “trade up.” This means you can never just take anything from him. If you want what Max has, you need to trade him for something just as good or better. He really likes this game!

The $145 adoption fee for Max includes medical exam, neuter, up to date vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if his new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society’s Department of Animal Services.

Isabelle is Learning to Trust People

https://rchumanesociety.org/isabelle/

Isabelle is a 6-1/2-year-old, 15-pound, female, Domestic Medium Hair cat with a Brown Tabby coat.

She spent most of her life in the same home. When her owner died recently, Isabelle was surrendered to Rancho Coastal Humane Society. Since then, she’s been living in a foster home with an RCHS trained volunteer.

Isabelle is still very cautious in her foster home, but little by little, she is learning to trust people. Sometimes she will find a safe place to hide. Isabelle might like to live with another friendly, mellow cat. Isabelle needs an experienced cat owner.

The $75 adoption fee for Isabelle includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, and registered microchip. Can’t adopt her? Sponsor Isabelle until she finds her home.

Isabelle is another example of why pet owners need a plan for themselves and their pets. Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society and FreeWill can help you create your own legal will. It’s free and most people finish in 20 minutes or less. You can also use FreeWill to create a will that you finalize with your own attorney.
