COVID-19 changed our plan to host an extra special 60th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee in September, but it did not change what we need day-in-and-day-out to take care of our shelter pets. So, we launched a virtual Fund-A-Need event.
Thank you to everyone who “went shopping” for essential shelter supplies and equipment. You have proven this popular live event feature can go “virtual,” although we know that everyone misses Clint Bell challenging us to raise a paddle!
From now through October 31, our Virtual Fund-A-Need continues. While some items have sold out, the shelter is still in need of pet toys, kennel cleaning supplies (for puppy messes) and contributions towards bigger ticket items, like medical equipment.
