January 2020 – Pets of the Month

Charlie

How could anyone look at that face and not love Charlie? He’s a 7-year old, male, Mastiff mix. At just under 150 pounds, he’s a little bit thin. Charlie likes to cuddle. Actually, Charlie loves sitting on laps. And, he loves to “lean on you” when you are standing nearby! We can’t always have someone with him in his kennel, so it’s filled with lots of big, cushy beds. If you’re looking for a big, snuggly, gentle dog, come meet Charlie. If this isn’t the right time for you, share his information with your friends or considering sponsoring him until we find his “fur-ever” home.

The Rabbitat

The Rabbitat is bursting with bunnies! Every enclosure is full with both long-term guests, including Anna and Elsa, and new arrivals like Mary Hoppins, Smooth Hoperator and Tricerahops.
Bunnies make wonderful pets. They’re quiet, loving and form strong bonds with their humans. Whether you’re interested in adoption or want to learn more about these amazing pets, visit the Rabbitat soon.

Selena

Santa Paws and CBS News 8 made a special delivery Christmas morning. Selena, a 10-week old kitten, began her new life with the Phillips family.
It’s hard to tell who was more excited; 11-year old Kai, his 16-year old sister, 13-year old brother or their mom, Justine!
Again this Christmas, it was the most-watched television news story in San Diego. CLICK HERE  to take this magical, memorable trip with Selena and Santa Paws.
