Pets of the Month – May 2020
Jesse James will steal your heart!
Jesse James is an 8-month-old, 45-pound, male, Siberian Husky mix puppy. He was transferred to your Rancho Coastal Humane Society from one of our shelter partners in Riverside County through our FOCAS transport program.
He can be shy, but it doesn’t take long for his playful, friendly personality to shine through. Remember that Huskies were bred to pull heavy sleds for long periods of time. Jesse James doesn’t need a sled to pull, but he does need an active family that will make sure he gets plenty of physical and mental exercise.
If he’s the right dog for you…GREAT! If not, please share his information with your family and friends. You can also be his Virtual Foster and sponsor Jesse James until he’s adopted. His adoption fee is only $145.
Kitten season is off to a slow start. That’s good news for Diplo and the more mature cats that are waiting to be adopted.
Diplo is a 6-year-old, 11-pound, female, Domestic Short Hair with a Muted Calico coat.
She was transferred to RCHS from another shelter through the FOCAS transport program. She was adopted and then returned. Her family said that Diplo needs a lot of attention. She’s a very affectionate young lady. As you can see from her picture, she likes her “hidey holes” when she needs some privacy. Her adoption fee is just $100.
Complete an “Adoption by Appointment” at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. Visit www.sdpets.org to see cats, dogs, and rabbits who need homes and details about how to download an Adoption Survey and schedule your Adoption by Appointment.
If this isn’t the right time for you to adopt or foster a pet, please become a “Virtual Foster.” Visit the RCHS website to sponsor pets and help pay for their care.
