Rancho Coastal Humane Society is Joining the San Diego Gives Movement!

What if we all gave local on just one day? While there are so many great causes both nationally and internationally, sometimes staying in your own backyard can make the most impact!

This is the idea behind the first-ever San Diego Gives day and, on September 9, 2021, Rancho Coastal Humane Society (RCHS) is “paws in!” Just like eat local and shop local, by giving local, 100% of the proceeds stay in your community.

“It’s a chance to highlight the tremendous work of all of the amazing nonprofits here in San Diego County. So, whether it’s animals, arts and culture, environment or education, there’s a cause for everyone. We’re excited to be a part of this inaugural giving day at a time when the needs are great,” says Judi Sanzo, President and CEO of Rancho Coastal Humane Society.

Save the date for September 9, 2021!

San Diego Gives is a 24-hour online fundraiser. More than 100 nonprofits are participating. Each organization must meet the following criteria:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to serving the Greater San Diego area
  • Represent a variety of populations and causes
  • Commit to keeping local all funds raised
  • A proven track record of fiscal responsibility

Please remember RCHS on this important day. Your investment will care for homeless animals in need of a second chance as well as pet owners in need of a helping hand.
