You Really Don’t Want to Miss the 2019 Celebration of Second Chances

Sapphire Night – When the Animals Shine

When your Rancho Coastal Humane Society first encouraged you to save the date for the 2019 Celebration of Second Chances on Saturday, September 28th, there seemed like plenty of time. Now we’re just one month away from Sapphire Night – When the Animals Shine.

Our signature event at Cape Rey Resort Carlsbad comes with a beautiful beach sunset, a VIP cocktail and champagne reception starting at 5:00 PM, opening reception and entertainment, a delicious dinner and special program.  

That’s the details of the Celebration of Second Chances. Pretty easy to describe.

What is impossible to put into words is how it feels to spend an evening surrounded by other animal lovers supporting animals and the people who love them.

  • You’ll meet people who adopted pets from Rancho Coastal Humane Society.
  • You might meet someone who attended Animal Camp as a kid.
  • You could meet others who benefitted from our Pet Assisted Therapy Program.
  • You’ll meet guests who donated to the Community Pet Food Bank or others who were able to keep their pets fed, thanks to those donations.
  • You definitely will meet RCHS donors, corporate partners, staff and volunteers.
  • They probably won’t tell you about it, but some of the people you’ll meet at the Celebration of Second Chances got their own personal “Second Chance” because of our Animal Safehouse Program.

Come for the fun. Come for the friendship. Come for that beautiful sunset.
