Alloy Might be the Perfect Cat for Beginners

Alloy is Rancho Coastal Humane Society’s (RCHS) first kitty Crush of the New Year! He’s a 2-year-old, 11-pound, male Domestic Short Hair cat with a Blue Cream Tabby coat.
Just like about 95% of the pets adopted from RCHS, Alloy was transferred to us from a rescue partner through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program.
He was a cool and easy cat from the moment he arrived. While some cats hide under a blanket or in the lower section of their enclosure, Alloy likes sitting up on the top so he can see his surroundings. He greets guests coming into the Cattery with a polite purr and a soft meow.
If you’re looking for your first cat, you might want to meet Alloy.
The $100 adoption fee for Alloy includes medical exam, neuter, updated vaccinations, and registered microchip.
Tipperary’s Smile Will Brighten Your Day

RCHS Animal Care Attendants and volunteers have a MAJOR crush on beautiful Tipperary. She’s a 66-pound, female Border Collie mix.
“Tippy,” as she is sometimes affectionately called, is almost 2 years old, but still very much a puppy. When she was little, she was a stray in the Imperial Valley. Someone picked her up and took her to an animal shelter. After that she was transferred to us through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program.
Like most herding dogs, Tipperary will need plenty of mental and physical stimulation. True to the breed, she is very smart! Tipperary will do better if she has a yard where she can play and burn off her energy.
The $145 adoption fee for Tipperary includes medical exam, spay, updated vaccinations, registered microchip, and a one-year license if the adopter lives in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society’s Department of Animal Services.
