Patricia’s Love For Animals Goes On…Even Now That She’s Gone
Patricia Lizon loved people and pets. That was evident to anyone who ever saw her artwork and photographs or visited her websites.
What wasn’t evident was the plan that Patricia and her husband devised to carry on her love of animals through her art even after she passed away. That came in the form of an art show and sale with donations and other proceeds benefiting your Rancho Coastal Humane Society (RCHS).
We received donations varying from $20 to $2,000 in honor of “Patti.”
One donor wrote, “In memory of Patti Lizon. You will be missed by many. RIP.”
Another donation simply said, “Patti Art Show.” That’s all it needed to say. We knew what they meant.
One of the most touching compliments came from RCHS President Judi Sanzo’s husband, Mitch. Judi bought a piece of Patti’s art. When Judi got the painting home and was trying to figure out where to hang it, Mitch told her they had to rearrange everything hanging on their walls. “That painting deserves a place of prominence.” Well said, Mitch. We agree.
Thank you to Patricia Lizon, her family, her fans, and her friends for carrying on her love of animals by contributing to her favorite local animal shelter.
On her photography website, Patti said, “Making art is my ultimate adventure.” Patti’s adventure brought her love to Rancho Coastal Humane Society, where Every Animal Deserves a Tomorrow. ®
