This is “Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month” and Saturday the 29th is “Leap Day.”
Come on over to meet the bunnies in the Rabbitat.
Leap Year special, all rabbit adoptions are $25 (normally $40) through March 15.
March:
Daylight Saving Time begins on March 8th. Be patient with your pets while they make the adjustment.
Friday, March 13th is National K9 Veterans Day to honor the service and sacrifices of American military and working dogs. Not just those currently serving, but all who have served since the Army began training War Dogs in 1942 for the “K-9 Corps.” That was when dogs officially became part of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Come visit the Military Working Dog Memorial at Rancho Coastal Humane Society on March 13th at 9:00 a.m. for a flag-raising ceremony. Take time to read the memorial bricks. It will touch your heart.
